About The Kids Catch-all Fishing Tournament
The Kids Catch-all Fishing Tournament is an annual event held at the Indian River Marina. Kids ages 3 to 18 are invited to attend. Parents can help the younger kids reel the fish in. Kids can fish on a private boat, a charter boat, from the jettys, or from the beach. There are no restrictions as to where the kids can fish. After registering, either on-line or in person, kids fish where they want on Saturday and Sunday and then bring their fish in to be weighed at the Indian River Marina during the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. After the weigh-in is complete, there is an all-you-can-eat dinner Saturday and Sunday and the kids who are registered eat for free.

Each participant receives an event t-shirt with a custom-made logo designed and donated by Red Sun Custom Apparel, as well as a "goodie bag". At the Awards Banquet held Sunday evening, each participant also receives a special gift courtesy of Hook 'Em and Cook 'Em Outfitters.

After weighing in their fish, kids get their picture taken with their catch and our special "bragging board"

During the Awards Ceremony held Sunday evening, special custom-made trophies are awarded for the heaviest fish in 12 divisions - Bluefish, Croaker, Flounder, Mackerel, Mahi, Rockfish, Sea Bass, Shark, Spot, Triggerfish, Trout and Tuna. Additional trophies are awarded for the Most Billfish Released and for the Unusual Catch. A certified weighmaster weighs and registers each fisherman's heaviest three fish in each division for which fish are caught. The weighmaster decides the Unusual Catch winner.
Saturday and Sunday night there is an all-you-can-eat buffet for the whole family. Dockside Marina Bar & Grill will provide a Mexican Fiesta from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday's sponsor - for the Awards Banquet and a Good Ol' Fashioned Cook-out - is Bethany Blues featuring their famous Bar-B-Q. Dinner Sunday evening is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Door prizes are offered each night during dinner. Kids registered in the fishing tournament eat free and additional family members enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet for just $10 for additional kids ages 10 and under, or $20 for older kids and adults (NOTE: food prices have increased). ** Please RSVP for the number of additional family members you expect to bring on Saturday and Sunday evenings when registering. Dinner tickets will be purchased at the Marina, but we need to know approximately how many people to expect for dinner for planning purposes. Thank you! **
